It only took two years for the CFHS robotics class to take the grand champion title. They competed against 12 other teams in the seventh-annual local robotics competition at SUNY Broome. Last year, they placed in second overall.
Another CF team joined the high school class at the competition. A group of CFE third-graders donned their “Blue Devils Robotics” t-shirts and competed alongside their much older rivals.
Many of the students in this year’s class were new to the competition and robotics in general.
Of the six events, the high school teams placed in five, giving them the grand champion title.
Here are the events, place and team members:
First place: Jacob Bouck and Alexandro Pezzino
Swept Away – Small
Second place: Graydon Vick, Brad Wiley and Ryan Gresham.
