Welcome to the Chenango Forks Central School District! The school district is located in a growing, dynamic community in Broome County that blends the excitement of change with the assurance of tradition. Our district is comprised of one main campus with a connected high school and middle school and an adjacent elementary school a few hundred yards away.
Chenango Forks is a community growing in diversity. People, cultures and ideas are changing with each new school year. Its demographics now include populations from all parts of the world and our ELL offerings are growing every year. The district provides an extensive number of interscholastic athletic programs and extracurricular activities as well as a complete range of academic coursework to our student population of approximately 1,600 (pre-K through grade 12). All of the K-12 curricula is based upon the New York State Common Core Learning Standards and is aligned with the NYS Grades 3-8 Assessment Program and the NYS Grades 9-12 Regents Examination Program. Several electives developed by members of the Chenango Forks Central School District faculty are available for local credit as well. We also partner with SUNY Broome, Tompkins Cortland Community College, Syracuse University and the State University of New York at Albany to offer our students a variety of college level courses.

The high school opened its brand new STEAM Academy in January of 2018 and has since been on the cutting edge of interdisciplinary, co-taught, project based learning that also has a strong connection to dozens of local businesses that act as sites for student internships, the only certified Work Based Learning High School in Central New York.

Thank you for visiting the School District's website and for your genuine support and trust in Chenango Forks, a community where learning excels.
