Places To Volunteer

The Mental Health Association of the Southern Tier is in need of help from volunteers at the Binghamton Pond Festival coming up this month. This fun outdoor event is held for 3 weekends at the Chenango Valley State Park (eagle sightings are common!) in January and MHAST, as the charity partner, is responsible for lining up volunteers to help out with fun tasks such as collecting donations (parking fee) at the park entrance, helping with registration, helping at the MHAST tent/shed (we’ll be selling merchandise and answering questions about the agency), and more! We are hoping your club will show your support by volunteering to help when you can – you’ll see at the link below that there are plenty of options available during the weekends of

            January 11 & 12

            January 17, 18 and 19

            January 24, 25 and 26

Come as often as you can! We will provide hand warmers and for each shift you volunteer for, you’ll be able to enter the volunteer raffle for some great prizes!

Signing up for shifts is very easy at this link: https://www.signupgenius.com/go/9040f49aaad2da5fa7-binghamton. You can also get there from our own www.mhast.org website (right on the homepage!) or from the www.bingpondfest.com site (click on the VOLUNTEER link).
