I moved from Orlando, Florida to Vestal, NY around three years ago with my daughters and husband when my husband was transferred here by his employer. I love having four seasons again almost as much as I love teaching children. I love teaching because I am a life long learner myself. I received my bachelor's degree in Elementary Education from the University of Central Florida (UCF) and my master's degree in Educational Leadership from Stetson University in Florida.
I am a certified teacher in the states of New York, Pennsylvania, and Florida. I have been working in the field of education since 2003 when I received my first classroom teaching position in fourth grade at Orange County Public Schools in Orlando, FL. Throughout my teaching degree, I have taught 3rd, 4th, and 5th grades as a tenured teacher. I fell in love with Chenango Forks when I taught multiple grade levels as a long-term substitute teacher in 1st, 2nd, and 4th grades. The caliber of students, staff, parents, and community is top-notch! I am excited to be a part of the Forks family! I look forward to working with you and your child's teacher to help them reach their greatest potential as part of the the RtI First Grade Support Team!
