Varsity Track & Field: Had an awesome day at the State Qualifiers. Our Girls 4x8 team ran a huge PR and won our class to narrowly go to States. They were third overall in the entire section. Our Boys 4x1 ran incredible. They won the class and were 2nd overall. They currently stand at 2nd in the State. Our Boys 4x4 team all ran PR's and broke the school record from the 1970's. They just barely lost to Oneonta. Congratulations to our Girls 4x8 and Boys 4x1 teams that qualified for States. Nice job by all. Let's Go Forks Nation!

Modified Weekly Recap (5/25-5/30): Our modified blue softball team lost to Oneonta in a close game, 11-9. Maya and Ellie pitched, totaling 8 K's for the game. Cora was 3-3 with a triple. Our white team tied Greene, 9-9, to kick off the week. Alaina had 3 runs scored and Payton had 7 K's from the circle. Later in the week, they lost a close game @ SV 18-17. Claire led the team with 4 runs scored, followed by both Adriana & Payton with 3 runs scored each. They finished their season with a victory vs. Binghamton, 14-12. Payton pitched a complete game with 9 K's. Adriana, Braylee & Payton each scored 3 runs each. Nice job team! In baseball, our team lost to UE. Simon pitched 4 1/3 innings & Joe scored his first run of the season. Our boys lacrosse defeated Windsor, 8-3. Tristan led the team with 4 goals & 1 assist. Our girls lacrosse team defeated SCC, 13-10, to finish off an undefeated season! Leah led the charge with 7 goals & 2 assists. Nice job ladies. Let's Go Forks Nation!

🏆 Our Girls 4x800 Relay (Rebecca Yahner, Avery Raab, Ari Hepler & Ceci Kasmarcik) captured a Sectional Title!

🏆 Our Boys 4x100 Relay (Abdul Bumbrey, Brysen Fry, Max Harkness & Lincoln Raab) and our Boys 4x400 Relay (Sam Paske, Brysen Fry, Max Harkness & Lincoln Raab) also brought home Sectional Championships!

Modified Weekly Recap (5/11-5/16): Our modified white softball team defeated CV 21-3. Payton led the charge with 6 strikeouts. Adriana got on base each at bat & scored twice. Brystal scored multiple runs. Avery & Claire both hit a home run. Later in the week, they lost to UE 9-8. Payton & Adriana scored 2 runs each. Payton had 9 K's from the circle. Our modified blue softball team defeated Greene 16-8. Cora was 2-2 with a triple, Maya had 6 K's from the circle & Jayna was 2-2. Our team also had a triple play in the 2nd inning! Later in the week, they lost to JC 16-6. Kennedy was 1-3. Girls lacrosse defeated WP 13-9. Leah had 6 goals, Kenley had 4 goals & Harper had 2 goals & 1 assist. Track competed against SV, JC & Horseheads. All athletes had great performances! Later in the week, they competed against Waverly, Owego, CV & SCC. Place winners were Sophia, Victoria, Tristyn, Hunter, Lochlan & Aaron. Boys lacrosse defeated SCC 14-4. Our entire team played with class & generosity, to a short handed SCC team. Later in the week, they also defeated Owego 18-0. Julian had 4 goals & 3 assists. Zach scored his first goal of the season. They ended the week with a victory vs. ME, 9-1. The team played stellar defense! In tennis, we competed against CV & Norwich. Alex won his singles match! Later in the week they played SV, Windsor & Delhi. Sam was victorious in singles. Modified Weekly Recap (5/18-5/23): Our boys lacrosse team defeated CV, 9-5. Julian had 3 goals & 2 assists to lead the way. Our girls lacrosse team defeated Elmira, 13-4. Leah had 4 goals & 3 assists, Liv had 3 goals & 1 assist, Kenley had 2 goals & 4 assists, & Peyton had 6 saves. The team remains undefeated! Our track team competed against a host of schools. Tristyn tied the school record in the 55 Meter Hurdles! Great job! Our tennis team competed against UE & ME. Sam won in singles and Landon & John dominated in doubles. The next day, they played ME & Norwich. Xavier & Landon won 4-0 in doubles. Zander won in singles. Our white softball team lost to Norwich, 21-13. Adriana continued to be productive at the plate. Our blue softball team lost to Windsor 15-7. Ellie pitched a complete game with 5 K's. Kennedy was 3-4 with a walk. Nice week modified athletes. Finish your season strong!

Varsity Track & Field: Despite mid-90s heat at last Monday’s 11th Annual Need for Speed Invite in Johnson City, the Blue Devils kept rolling.

Grace Harkness won the 300m (47.68)
Lincoln Raab won the 200m (22.81)
Sam Paske won the 300H (42.47)

Ceci Kasmarcik took 2nd in the 600 (1:50.72)
Clara Little was 3rd in the 600 (1:50.95)

The boys dominated the 200m with Raab (1st), Brysen Fry (2nd, 23.00), and Abdul Bumbrey (3rd, 23.09) sweeping the podium despite 20 other schools in attendance! Fry also placed 2nd in the 100m (11.50).

Lillian Packard added a 5th-place finish in the 200m. Way to go Forks Nation!

JV Weekly Recap (5/11-5/16): Our baseball team ended their season with a loss to SV and then a loss to SCC. Against SV, Noah had 2 hits to lead the team. Against SCC, Noah had 3 hits, Rocco had 2 hits, & Kolin had 2 hits & 4 RBI's to lead the team. Nice season boys. Thank you for all of your hard work.

Chenango Forks Track and Field had an impressive showing at the STAC Championships on Wednesday night in Vestal. 11 PRs were set. Brysen Fry (100 Meter Dash) and Sam Paske (400 Hurdles) were able to medal by earning third place overall finishes. Max Harkness , Tyler Andrews, Brysen and Sam were also members of our fourth place finishing 4 by 400 Meter Relay Team.

Ceci Kasmarcik finished fourth in the 800 Meter Run, and also was the anchor leg of our 4 by 800 Meter Relay Team that placed fourth (with Katherine Yahner, Alyx Clutz, and Grace Harkness). Great Job and good luck next week at The Class Championships in Newark Valley.

Varsity Baseball: Lost their last regular season game of the year vs Waverly on Thursday. Tate, Eli & Cam each had a hit in the game. Tate had 2 stolen bases & scored 2 runs.
