Update on quarantine changes, 'Test to Stay' program

Superintendent Tom Burkhardt has written a letter to our students and staff with updates on quarantine changes and the addition of the Test to Stay (TTS) program for both students and staff. To read the letter, click here.

Meals During Quarantine

If a parent/guardian wants a meal(s) for a quarantined student they need to call the HS Kitchen (607-648-2485) and specify the number of days they need meals for during their quarantine. Then this will be brought to the main office of the respective building and be picked up by the parent/guardian. This doesn’t pertain to homeschool students or students not enrolled in the district.

Self-Report and Investigation Link

With the holiday, break, and families returning from travel, the Broome County Health Department anticipates an uptick in cases; and due to this reason, they have provided school districts a self-report and investigation link, which is an excellent tool to help schools and nurses navigate a potential surge. Since the department of health is no longer calling cases, we are asking that even those with confirmed positive lab cases fill out the form, not just those positives determined by home tests. This will assist in our weekly updates to our CF community in giving an accurate account of the number of positive cases in our district. To access the form, click here.
