Modified Weekly Recap (4/27-5/2): Our track team competed against Ithaca, Binghamton & Windsor. All athletes did a great job in their first meet of the season! Later in the week, they competed against Elmira, Vestal & Norwich. Victoria, Journey, Tristyn, Lochlan, Hunter, Camden & the 4x1 relay team all placed at the meet. Our boys lacrosse team defeated ME 12-0. The CF Defense of Fred, Zach & Jackson did not allow a single shot on goal! Nice job team! Our tennis team competed against CV & Norwich. Sam won a singles match & John did a nice job with his returns. Later in the week, they competed against UE & Ithaca. Sam & Zander dominated in doubles! In baseball, our team lost to CV. Chris, Thomas & Ben each had a hit in the game. Later in the week, they also lost to Oneonta. Simon pitched well to start the game. In softball, one of our teams lost to Binghamton. Ellie had 10 strikeouts in the game & was 2-3 from the plate. Kennedy scored 3 runs for the team! Our girls lacrosse team defeated Windsor, 15-12. Leah led the team with 7 goals & 2 assists, followed by Kenley with 4 goals & 2 assists. Peyton had 6 saves in the net. Nice job modified athletes. Keep up the great work!

Girls Varsity Lacrosse: Defeated CV, 11-7 at the end of last week. Maggie O. had 4 goals & Molly S. had 2 goals. Our defense held CV to just 1 goal in the 2nd half of the game! They then defeated Windsor last night 10-6. Samantha H. had a great game between the pipes making some big saves. Molly S. had 3 goals & Maggie O. scored and led he team in the transition game. Boys Varsity Lacrosse: Defeated CV on Friday, 14-10. The defense was led by Gabe Pavlick, Liam Spalik and Colby Polacek - between fighting for ground balls and frustrating pressure defense, we played a good game!

Varsity Track & Field: Competed at the Gerry O Invite on Friday. The girls finished 4th & the boys 10th. The Girls were led by victories from Arianna Hepler (1500, 800) and our girls 4x8 team of Avery Raab, Grace Hogan, Michaela Wood, and Ceci Kasmarcik. Jillian Howell added a pair of 3rd place finishes in the throws. Lincoln Raab won the 200, while Joe Rullo and Sawyer Kasmarcik ran big PR's in the 1600. Varsity Tennis - Division Champs! On Thursday, they finished up a rained out match vs. Norwich from earlier in the season, defeating them 7-0. It was a great team effort. For Senior Night, they then took on CV for the division. Our team was victorious 4-3, making them STAC Central Division Champions! Chris Samson & Davis Hull clinched the match at 3rd doubles. Varsity Track & Field: Competed against CV on Wednesday night for the division. The girls won 88-44 & the boys won 72-59!

Lincoln Raab, Max Harkness, and Abdul Bumbrey swept the 100m. Max and Abdul went 1, 2 in the 200m. While our 4x100 relay of Abdul, Chase Tuttle, Camden Sturdevant, and Logan Kuss took the win to round out the sprint group's contributions.

The Boys field group added wins from Jackson James in the pole vault, Dylan Raab in the triple jump, Lincoln in the long jump, and Michael Moppert in the shot put.

Arianna Hepler and Ceci Kasmarcik both walked away with three event wins on the night and leading our girls to an 88-44 win. Arianna captured the 1500m, the 800m, and a leg on the winning 4x400 relay. Ceci added wins in the 400m, and the 4x400 along with the 4x800.

In the field, Jillian Howell led a girls sweep in the throws, continuing her dominant start to the season. Lily Packard, Olivia Dobish, and Giuliana Michitti swept the triple jump. Maya Padmanabhan won the pole vault. Jaime Prince won the 200 Meter Dash.

Not to be outdone, the girls distance group put together a double sweep. In the 1500m, 8th graders Arianna, Michaela Wood, and Becca Yahner went 1, 2, 3 to claim the top three spots. In the 800m, Arianna, Alyx Clutz, and Katherine Yahner repeated the feat with another sweep demonstrating great depth for the team!

Modified Weekly Recap (4/20-4/25): Our boys lacrosse team kicked off the week with a loss to Dryden, 8-4. Julian Sinclair led the team with 3 goals & 1 assist. Later in the week, the team rebounded with a victory over JC, 11-1. Tristan Layton led the way with 3 goals & 2 assists. Nice job team! Our girls lacrosse team defeated CV, 12-4. The team was led by Leah Aukema with 4 goals & 1 assist, followed by Harper Ballard with 2 goals. Peyton Bryce in goal had 10 saves. Nice job ladies! Our baseball team lost to Windsor 14-2 & then to Owego 15-2. Against Windsor, Brody Bunker, Tristan Greene, & Jonah Sanford all had a hit. Ben Harding started the on hill and gave up 1 hit in 2 2/3 innings. Against Owego, Brody Bunker, Simon Pook, Jonah Sanford, &Thomas Davenport all had a hit. Jackson Sullivan and Simon Pook each pitched 2 innings. Jackson struck out 6. Keep working hard boys. Our tennis team competed vs. CV & Norwich in the first match of the season. Sam Scofield took on many opponents in singles. All players had a great first match. Finally, our softball team took on Owego & lost a back and forth game, 14-12. Ellie Kirk had 6 strikeouts from the mound & went 3-3 with a double from the plate. Arabella Laine did a great job behind the plate! Our other softball team took on the other Owego team and lost 21-14. Adrianna Paludi got on base every time she was up & scored 3 runs. Claire Blackman hit a triple. Nice job ladies! JV Weekly Recap (4/20-4/25): Our baseball team lost to Owego 5-2 on Tuesday, in game 1 of the series. Kyle pitched 5 2/3 innings, giving up 6 hits and 1 earned run. He also led our team with 2 hits. Rocco had 5 defensive outs to lead the team. The following day, they lost again in game 2 to Owego, 14-2. Noah, Kyle, & Sam each with a hit. In the final game of the 3 game series, they lost to Owego 10-1. Kolin & Noah each had a hit. Aiden led the team with 4 defensive outs. Keep working hard boys.

Varsity Baseball: Lost a 3-2 extra inning game vs. SCC on Monday night. Eli Scofield struck out 13 and gave up 4 hits over 7 2/3 innings. He also had 2 RBI's on the day. Varsity Track & Field: On Friday they competed in the Blue Devil Relays. The night's headline was a pair of victories in the freshman/sophomore Sprint Medley Relays. The girls combination of Becca Yahner, Giuliana Michitti, Lily Packard, and Michaela Wood took first place. The boys answered with their own win behind the legs of Tyler Andrews, Dylan Raab, Ryan Vasina, and Joe Rullo. The Distance Medley Relay team of Alyx Clutz, Grace Harkness, Clara Little, and Arianna Hepler finished second. The girls 4x800 relay team of Alyx Clutz, Avery Raab, Clara Little, and Arianna Hepler matched the runner-up effort, finishing second. Nice job by all. Let's Go Forks Nation!

Flag Football: Defeated CV on Friday night, 19-13 behind a 3 interception night for the team defense (Jansen, Delaney & Kendra). Kendra & Kenzie continued connecting through the air for all 3 TD's. Nice job team! On Saturday, they lost a tough game vs. SV 14-6. Jules & Kendra both had 9 tackles a piece. Kendra had 150 yards of offense. Next up is a 5/6 matchup @ Windsor, 6 pm.
