Dear Chenango Forks Families,

November invites us to pause, show gratitude and set clear goals for the weeks ahead. Across Forks Nation, we’re highlighting the Character Education and Leadership habit of the month: “Begin with the End in Mind.” Students are practicing how to set a purpose before they start—whether that’s planning a writing piece, mapping out a science project, or preparing for concerts and athletics. Family tip: Ask your child, “What does success look like for you this week or month, and what’s one step you can take today?”
We also want to share an important community update. Beginning in November, some households across our region may experience changes to their Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) benefits. We recognize this may create challenges for families and we are committed to supporting anyone who may be affected. The Chenango Forks Central School District and its community partners are here to help.
If you or someone you know needs food assistance—or if you’re able to help—please see the resources below.
Thank you for continuing to lift one another up as we work together to build “A Community Where All Learners Grow and Excel!”
