The CF Tech Club has spent a little over a year building a drift trike. It all started last winter after they spent much time creating the groundwork for their R/C Racing League with club owned cars. They were burnt out with deskwork and looking for a direction. Then, Transportation Director, Jason Hibbard attended one of the meetings and thought building a drift trike would be a good end point for the welding and metal fabrication interest of the students.

It started with a couple of drawings on the white board and thanks to the help of many people including John Silvanic and the maintenance department, John the mechanic from the bus garage, Jason Hibbard and Gray Reid, the students have built a drift trike from a bunch of donated parts and the scrap pile from behind the bus garage.

Superintendent, Mr. Burkhardt and High School Principal, Mr. Tronovitch were given the opportunity last week to race against the clock to see who could win the fastest time on the club's closed course.
