High School junior Jon Hozempa and senior Brenden Samsel were accepted into the Fredonia Day of Jazz at SUNY Fredonia (also the Blue Devils), which will take place this Saturday, Nov. 13. The Fredonia Day of Jazz is an intensive, one-day workshop for intermediate to advanced high school instrumentalists interested in jazz improvisations. Participating students had to be nominated by their teacher. Jon plays the Tenor Saxophone and Brenden plays the Alto Saxophone.
