Hiring:

• 1- Driver written and road test from D.M.V. for C.D.L. with passenger endorsement to drive school bus

• 2- Application for employment

• 3- Three reference letters

• 4- Finger printing for criminal background check.

• 5- Physical Exam

• 6- Random drug and alcohol testing

• 7- Must take 30-hour course before second year of driving.

Yearly requirements:

• 1- Physical

• 2- Drivers abstract from state D.M.V. of driving record.

• 3- Two, two-hour driver refreshers, one in August and one in January

• 4- Driver's review of employment

• 5- Driver's defensive review. We have to observe the driver and from outside the bus and grade them.

Biannual Qualifications

• 1- Behind the wheel test. We have to ride with driver and grade them.

• 2- Oral/written test of 25 random questions from a list of 88

• 3- Physical performance test

We have yearly audit by state D.M.V. to check all records
