Buses run smoothly in cold weather
The Chenango Forks Central School District is proud to report that  despite the extremely cold temperatures recently, we had no operating  issues with our bus fleet. The majority of our buses are powered by  propane, and perform reliably in extreme weather conditions. For the  small number of diesel-powered buses in our fleet, we use a special fuel  mixture that prevents problems caused by cold temperatures, and we keep  our buses stored inside.
