Notice Regarding May 13, 2019 Lockout
Thank you for the feedback on our Facebook page. The CFCSD administrative team along with our SROs have reviewed the procedures for Lockouts, Lockdowns, and Shelter in Place. The district as well as local law enforcement believes the district did an excellent job with accessing the threat and ascertaining the information needed to deem the threat non-viable. It appears where the district may improve is a timelier parent notification. In the future, if a Lockout, Lockdown or a Shelter in Place occurs in the district, a call/text will be sent to ensure the safety of our students, staff and community. Mandated drills by New York State Education will not be followed with notification.

Students in Mrs. Q's Entrepreneurship & Marketing class had the opportunity to speak with Mr. Joseph E. Walsh, Jr., a Principal at Harkness, Dickey & Pierce, PLC in St. Louis, MO about patents and trademarks. Communicating via Facetime, Mr. Walsh was able to provide insight about the workings and legalities of both. Walsh is the brother of Mrs. Q. and has spoken as an expert in many trial cases and at the Supreme Court. It was a wonderful opportunity for the students to be able to connect their conversations to real-life situations.
