Debra Daniels

Thank you to Debra Daniels, for over twenty years of service to the Chenango Forks Central School District.  Deb began her teaching career at Chenango Forks High School in 2000 and has taught Health and Family and Career Science (formerly Home Economics).   Best wishes for a safe and healthy retirement and enjoy spending time with your family.  Don’t forget to stop by your high school room on any Friday morning you are available to enjoy the breakfast tradition that will be carried on by your colleagues. 

Cynthia Grospin

Thank you to Cynthia Grospin, for over thirty years of service to the Chenango Forks Central School District.  Cindy began her teaching career as a Reading teacher at John R. Harshaw Primary in 1992 and is retiring as a math and English Language Arts services provider to students in grade 5.  Cindy will be remembered for her adaptability, patience, and perseverance with students as education as changed since Cindy began her career.  We wish Cindy the best, hope that she will spend time traveling when she wants to and look forward to having her as a substitute teacher.

Patricia Lawton

Thank you to Patricia Lawton, for over forty years of service to the Chenango Forks Central School District.  Pat began her full-time teaching career in elementary education at John R. Harshaw Primary in 1983.  Pat will be remembered for always advocating for both students and staff.  We wish her the best of luck in her retirement and much happiness as she plans to spend time in Florida, will be visiting her children, and camping with her husband, Rahn. 

Michael O'Hearn

Thank you to Michael O’Hearn, for over three decades of service to the Chenango Forks Central School District as both a teacher and a coach.  Mike began his teaching career at Charlotte Kenyon Elementary in 1989 and later moved to Chenango Forks Middle School where he retired from teaching sixth grade writing.  Mike will always be remembered for his quick wit, sense of humor, and for the proper grammar and punctuation he instilled in all of those he worked with and taught.  Have a healthy retirement, enjoy some extra time with your family and traveling, Mr. O. 

 Karyn Church

Thank you to Karyn Church, for her twenty-five years of service to the Chenango Forks Central School District.  Karyn began her teaching career in the Susquehanna Valley Central School District and was hired as a sixth grade Reading teacher at Chenango Forks Middle School in 1998.  Karyn will be remembered for helping to instill the passion and love of reading in middle school students which is no easy feat.  Enjoy your retirement, as well as spending time with your family, Karyn.

Kathleen Gibbs

Thank you to Kathleen Gibbs, who has close to ten years of service to the Chenango Forks Central School District.  Kathy started as an administrative professional at CF in 2015 and has had various positions throughout the district, most recently District Registrar.  Kathy will be remembered for her willingness to help as well as her expertise in all things “School Tool”.  We wish her health, happiness, and relaxation.  Kathy will be retiring at the end of  August 2023.
