We are thrilled to welcome Lori Pourby back to the Chenango Forks Central School District as our Assistant Superintendent. Lori returns to the district after serving in administrative positions at the Sidney and Chenango Valley Central School Districts following a 26-year career at Chenango Forks.

“I’m excited to come back home to Chenango Forks,” Pourby said. “I loved my time as a member of the Blue Devils family and am honored to rejoin as Assistant Superintendent.”

While at Chenango Forks, she held a variety of roles including third-grade teacher, professional development math coach, primary principal, middle school principal and director of curriculum.

Prior to this return to Chenango Forks, Lori spent two years at the Sidney Central School District as the junior/senior high school principal for grades 7-12 and a year at Chenango Valley as an interim building administrator.

She received her bachelor’s in elementary and early secondary education (with an English 7-9 extension) from SUNY Cortland, where she also earned her master’s degree in reading. She holds a CAS in building and district leadership and is a graduate of the New York State Superintendent Development Program.

She and her husband Mike, who teaches science at the Binghamton City School District, are CF residents and have three daughters.

“I look forward to working collaboratively with the school community and helping to lead the district during this period of change and will work to make the transition to our next Superintendent a smooth one,” she said.

Welcome home, Mrs. Pourby!
