Chenango Forks Central School District

The Chenango Forks Central School District Board of Education today (September 9, 2021) announced that the search for a new superintendent of schools is proceeding on schedule and that two candidates have been identified as finalists.
 
Having concluded a round of interviews with five semi-finalists last month, the board has narrowed the search to two outstanding finalists who are scheduled to visit our school over the next couple of weeks.
 
The district’s search consultant, Broome-Tioga BOCES District Superintendent Allen D. Buyck, is meeting with our stakeholder committees this week to offer tips and techniques regarding the conduct of professional interviews, which are scheduled for September 13 and 21.
 
A final selection is expected by the end of this month.
