Da'Shaun Aldrich holds award-winning art piece

We are very proud to announce that freshman Da'Shaun Aldrich has won the “Making Room at Our Table” contest! The contest was sponsored by Broome County's Family Violence Prevention Council and designed to promote diversity, empathy and kindness in our community.  

Da'Shaun's winning art piece (along with his photo) will be displayed on a billboard in Broome County.  He’ll also participate in a press conference along with Broome County Executive Jason Garnar.

Senior Cassidy Nowik came in third place and will be receiving an art kit. 

Cassidy Nowik came in third place in the 'Making Room at Our Table' art contest, sponsored by the Family Violence Prevention Council.

Four Chenango Forks students were finalists in the contest: Da'Shaun Aldrich, Cassidy Nowik, Tessa Kocak and one anonymous high schooler.
