Jim Ehmke films Kaylee Packer doing cooking video

Senior Kaylee Packer was chosen to be featured in one of the the Cornell Cooperative Extension's cooing tutorial videos, which is now available for viewing on the CCE Broome Nutrition Programs Facebook page.

Kaylee was chosen by the CCE Nutrition Team after viewing the recipe card illustrations created by Lindsay Doolittle's art students. The CCE Nutrition Team voted on their favorite design, which was Kaylee's Stuffed Blueberry Cookie recipe card.

Kaylee went to the Commercial Kitchen at the Broome County Regional Farmers Market for a tutorial video on how to make her Stuffed Blueberry Cookie Recipe. She whipped up the cookies alongside CCE Nutrition Educator Ann Supa, who made slight modifications in the recipe to include more whole grains, as well as less sugar and fat.

Kaylee and Ann were filmed as they talked through the recipe and even sampled each other's cookies at the end. Newschannel34 reporter Jim Ehmke was also in attendance for a news story on the video, which you can watch now online.

Kaylee's video can now be viewed on the CCE Broome Nutrition Programs Facebook page by clicking the link below.

Thank you to the Cornell Cooperative Extension of Broome County for collaborating with our Fine Arts Department and producing this video.

Congratulations, Kaylee! We have it on good authority that your cookies were delicious.
