In consideration of recent tragic events, we realize that there has been increased anxiety and concerns about school safety. For Chenango Forks, school safety is a primary concern.
We want to inform you that today we received a report of a possible safety issue connected to the high school. This morning our safety staff worked in cooperation with local police to fully investigate the reported concern. We want you to know that local authorities have found no credible evidence to support the reported concern.
We will continue to diligently monitor and adhere to our safety protocols as we approach the end of the school year.
