Girls Varsity Wrestling Ticket Update: From Section IV - There was a start time change for the Girls Freestyle Wrestling Championships at the Arena on February 13. Attached is an updated GoFan QR Code Flyer for the ALL Day General Admission Tickets. Any spectator who had already purchased their digital tickets will get a notification from GoFan reflecting the time change.

Girls Varsity Basketball: Lost a hard fought game @ SV, 53-50. Jordyn scored 16 points and Mari had 11 points. Next up is a home matchup vs. Waverly on Friday night, 7:15 pm. Let's Go Forks Nation!
Varsity Swimming: Competed at the SV Diving Invitational. Jackson James finished in 7th place out of 16! This was only Jackson's 2nd time competing in a 11 dive invitational and he beat his pervious score by 52 points! Great job Jackson, keep up the hard work! Let's Go Forks Nation!
JV Weekly Recap (1/26-1/31): Our bowling team took on CV and came out victorious, 4-1. They were led by Carter with his 521 series. They then defeated Windsor, 5-0, again led by Carter. Nice job! Girls basketball defeated Oneonta, 49-32. They were led by Lily's 24 pts, Lucy's 11 rebounds & Molly's 7 assists. They then lost @ SCC later in the week, 46-42. Lily had 18 pts, Arianna had 10 pts, Lucy had 8 boards, 4 assists, & 4 steals! The team is 8-4 overall, 7-2 in the division. In wrestling, Tyler earned a pin vs. Norwich. Nice job! Boys basketball lost @ Oneonta 65-52, led by Eli's efforts. Later in the week, they then lost to SCC in a tough game, 45-39. Devon led the team with terrific defense. Modified Weekly Recap (1/26-1/31): Our boys basketball teams took on SV last week. Our 8th grade team won 54-37. They were led by Tristan with 9 pts, followed by Brad & Fred with 8 pts each. Our 7th grade team lost a close one 39-31, led by Grayson's 11 pts. Later in the week, they then took on CV. The 8th grade team was victorious 46-15, behind Kainen's 14 pts & Fred's 11 pts. The 7th grade team lost 40-33, led by Hunter's 14 pts. Both teams played hard on the defensive end. Our girls basketball team defeated Oneonta 31-29 in a close game. They were let by Abbey's 10 pts & Avery's 8 pts. Nice job team! Our wrestling team defeated Norwich 10-6. Teain & Nate earned tech fall victories. Nice job! Our swimming team took on both CV & Windsor. They defeated CV 70-52 & Windsor 88-34. The team was led by Jackson, Sam, Eddie, Zander, Max & Sasha. These victories put them at 11-0 on the season! Indoor Track: It was another successful afternoon for Chenango Forks Indoor Track and Field. Junior Lincoln Raab broke 2 school records at Cornell University's Finger Lakes Invite on Sunday: the 55 meter dash (with a time of 6.74 sec.) and the 300 meter dash (with a time of 36.83 sec.). The previous record holder in the 300 meter dash was Lincoln's older brother Nate! Lincoln is currently ranked 6th in all of Section IV in each event. Other highlights include Senior Jacob Clutz running our second fastest 1000 meter run in school history, sophomore Clara Little running our 5th fastest 1500 meter run, eighth grader Arianna Hepler running our 7th fastest 3000 meter run, and junior Grace Harkness running our 9th fastest 600 meter run all time. Great job by all and good luck this weekend as the Indoor Team returns to Cornell University for the Class Championship Meet. Let's Go Forks Nation!

Varsity Swimming: Lost @ Oneonta on Friday, 109-72. Jackson had a personal record (PR) in diving, Lucas had a PR in the 200IM, & Davis had a PR in the 500. The team will keep working hard as they gear up for sectionals starting on 2/11. Let's Go Forks Nation!
Varsity Bowling: Competed against Windsor last week. Our girls team lost 5-0, led by Mackenzie's 492 series. Our boys team won 4-1. let by Landon's 724 series & Aidan's 604 series. Nice job team. Let's Go Forks Nation!

Girls Varsity Wrestling: Defeated both Horseheads (34-25) & Canestio-Greenwood (39-6) last night. Maddy Stoddard earned a big tech fall in the CG match. In the Horseheads dual Tori Reh, Jillian Howell, Emily Phelps, Emily Sullivan, & Jansen Derzanovich all earned pins to win the dual. The team has finished their dual meet season undefeated at 9-0.
