Varsity Bowling: Both teams lost to CV 5-0. Mackenzie Poyneer bowled a 460 series on the girls' side, while Landon Butenko bowled a 685 series and Aidan Robinson bowled a 521 series for the boys. Girls Varsity Basketball: Defeated Oneonta 61-50 on Senior Night last night. Jordyn had 14 pts. & 6 rebounds and 8 different Blue Devils scored. Our 7 seniors have only lost 2 games at home in their varsity careers. Congratulations to our seniors on all of your hard work and dedication to Forks Basketball. You have made Forks Nation proud!
Modified Weekly Recap (1/19-1/24): Girls Basketball started the week with a victory vs. Vestal, 38-27, led by Payton's 12 pts. They then defeated SV 39-34 and were led by Khloe & Payton. In Boys Basketball, the 8th grade team lost to Binghamton 58-41 & the team played hard. They were led by Fred with 10 pts. & Rocco with 9 pts. They then defeated SCC, 58-37, led by Fred & Rocco's 17 pts. each. Our 7th grade team lost to Owego, 49-19, led by Hunter's 10 pts. Later in the week, they lost a tough game to JC 29-23, led by Hunter's 10 pts. The team did a nice job playing hard in the second half. Our swimming team defeated Norwich 75-34 & Binghamton 87-17. JV Weekly Recap (1/19-1/24): Girls Basketball lost to Binghamton 48-27. Lily led the team with 16 pts & 9 rebounds. They then defeated CV, 43-42, in a tough game led by Lily's 16 pts & Lucy's 15 rebounds. Arianna also had 4 steals. Boys Wrestling competed in the MLK Day Tourney and Chase and Tyler had standout performances. They then competed in the STAC Tournament and Keaton, Tyler & Conner were the top performers. Varsity Cheer: Competed @ UE this weekend in the co-ed cheer tournament. The team demonstrated incredible school spirit and sharp motions in the cheer section of their routine. Nice job team!
Boys Varsity Swimming: Swam at the ME Invitational this weekend. The team finished in 10th place overall in swimming. They were led by Ronan, Ayden, Jack, Jackson, & Logan. There were 7 personal best times at the invitational. Jackson competed in his first 11 dive meet and placed 4th overall. Great job Jackson & nice job overall by the team. Keep up the hard work!
Boys Varsity Basketball: Lost @ CV on Saturday, 63-46. The team was led by Brady Vaseleck's 18 points, followed by Sam Paske with 12. The boys are traveling to Oneonta tomorrow night for a 7:15 pm matchup. Good luck team!

Indoor Track: Competed at the Frozen Five Invite at the end of last week. The team was led by the 4x4 victory of Jake Clutz, Max Harkness, Sam Paske, and Lincoln Raab. Other top performers included Abdul Bumbrey placing 6th in the 55m and Clara Little running a huge PR to finish 4th in the 1K. Great job team! Let's Go Forks Nation!
Boys Varsity Swimming: Lost @ SV 86-64, however, the boys swam really well and had great finishes against SV resulting in 10 personal best times. The team was led by Ronan, Davis & Lucas. Great job team!

Varsity Bowling: Our boys team lost to Owego last night 4-1 and 5-0. Sam bowled a 425 series, Justin bowled a 577 series & Landon bowled a 696 series. Our girls team lost to Owego 4-1. Grace bowled a 393 series & Mackenzie bowled a 436 series. Keep up the hard work team.

Our 8th grade team won 59-17, led by Joey with 12 points & Fred with 9 points. Our 7th grade team lost a close one, 29-25, led by Hunter with 13 points. Next up, both teams played UE. The 8th grade team won 54-53. Rocco & Tristan had 13 points each, with Kainen hitting the game winner with under 30 seconds to play. The 7th grade team lost 51-30, behind Hunter's 13 points. In Wrestling, Teain & Chris both had victories vs. Waverly. Against CV, Teain & Reid won their matches. Later in the week vs. Windsor, both Teain & Chris were victorious. They ended the week at the UE Tournament, where Teain, Reid, Nate, Chris, Nikita, & Amir had victories. Our swim team won @ SV, 80-29, bringing their record to 7-0. They finished the week with a victory vs. Owego, 45-28, behind 11 points each from Devon, Eli, & Danny. Girls Basketball defeated SCC, 39-34. Lily had 24 points, 10 rebounds & 4 assists. Lucy & Molly had 4 assists each. They also defeated Owego 42-13. Lily had 12 points & Lucy 12 rebounds to lead the way. The team is now 6-2. Bowling defeated Owego 5-0.
