Varsity Girls Basketball: Competed at the Juggler Classic this weekend, where they took on top ranked Marcellus and then South Jefferson. The girls lost a back and forth game to Marcellus on Saturday, 60-58, in the last minute of the game. Mari had 10 rebounds and Maggie had 26 points to lead the way. On Sunday, the team got off to a strong start and defeated South Jefferson 65-40. Abby had 6 rebounds and 10 different players scored in the game. Each player on the team had at least 1 assist. Boys Varsity Basketball: Lost a back and forth game vs. Owego 57-48. Liam Spalik led the team with 13 points, followed by Terenzio Silvestri with 11 points. Next up is a match up with Windsor tonight @ CF, 7:15 pm. Let's Go Forks Nation!

Varsity Bowling: Both teams lost to SV last week, 5-0. Janelle led the girls team with a 481 series and Landon led the boys team with a 685 series. Keep working hard teams!

Indoor Track: Competed at the Hurley Invitational at Ithaca this weekend. Our top female performers were Clara Little & Aubrey McMullen. Clara finished 8th overall in the 3000 m run, and came back an hour later to place 8th in the 1500 m run. That was the 5th fastest time in CF indoor history. Aubrey ran the 3rd fastest 300 m dash time in CF indoor history.
On the boys side, Lincoln Raab and Sam Paske finished 5th & 6th overall in the 300 m run, and are now ranked 3rd & 7th all time in Forks history in the event. Along with Abdul Bumbrey, CF now has three of the Top 25 300 m runners in the entire Section!

Girls Varsity Wrestling: Congratulations to Emily Phelps on reaching her 50th career win over the weekend. Emily is the first female wrestler to reach this victory total. You make Forks Nation proud! Keep up the great work.


Girls Varsity Wrestling: Competed in the Windsor Lady Black Knight Invitational over the weekend and the team finished 7th. Jansen was a champion, Emily P. & Jillian finished in 3rd place, Emily S. finished in 6th place in their weight classes. Nice job team!

Varsity Bowling: Competed in the mid-season tournament over the weekend. The boys bowled a 3042 series, led by Landon (691), Aidan (614) & Tylor (597). The girls bowled a 1643 series, led by Mackenzie (498) & Janelle (421). Nice job teams!

Girls Varsity Basketball: Defeated Owego at the end of last week 62-32. The team shot 75% from the free throw line for the 9th time this year. Nice job team!

Boys Varsity Basketball: Lost @ SCC last night 85-50. The team played hard & was only outscored by 5 points in the second half by a strong team that is ranked #1 in their class. The team was led by Liam, Lincoln & Terenzio with 10 points each. Keep working hard team! Next up is a matchup vs. Owego, 1/17, 5:30 pm.

Varsity Boys Swimming: Lost a tough meet vs. Windsor, 97-75. The team was led by Davis, Jack, Lucas, Jackson & Ayden. Despite the loss, the team still posted multiple personnel best times. Keep up the great work! Next up is a matchup @ SV, 1/22, 5:30 pm.


Athlete of the Week: Talon Ritter is off to a great start to the wrestling season. His record is currently 18-3 at 190 pounds. He won the Cuneen Doane tournament and the Oneonta Rotary. He also took 3rd at the Windsor Christmas Tournament and the Southern Tier Memorial.

Modified Weekly Recap (1/5-1/10): Our girls basketball defeated Oneonta 23-22, led by Payton's 8 pts. Later in the week, they also defeated Norwich, 40-16, let by Parker's 18 pts. Our 7th grade boys basketball team lost to ME, but all player's played hard. Later in the week, they then lost to Norwich, 42-34, but the whole team played as a unit. Our 8th grade boys basketball team lost to ME 49-38, led by Tristan L. 9 pts & Fred's 8 pts. Later in the week, they defeated Owego, 58-40, led by Tristan L. 14 pts & Rocco's 8 pts. JV Weekly Recap (1/5-1/10): Wrestling competed in the Oneonta Tournament. Chase finished in 1st, Keaton & Braeden finished 3rd, & Evan finished 5th in their weight classes. Girls basketball defeated Elmira 39-20 led by Lily's 14 pts, Anna's 14 rebounds & Lucy's 13 rebounds. They then defeated Windsor 43-21 led by Lily's 24 pts, Anna's 15 rebounds, Molly's 4 assists, & 5 steals each by Grace & Arianna. They finished the week with a loss @ Waverly, 46-24. Boys basketball defeated Windsor 47-38 behind Eli's strong performance in the second half. They then lost @ Waverly, 67-40. Bowling lost to CV 4-1, led by Jayden's 433 series.
