Each year the Chenango Forks Central School District sponsors a Holiday Basket event to help make the
holiday season a little brighter for families. This program is open to families with students enrolled in and attending the Chenango Forks CSD and supplies families with gift cards to aid with food and gifts, as well as items such as blankets, hats and mittens (based on availability).

Reminder, all clothing and costumes must be school appropriate.

Students examined “artifacts” from the time period (some of which were items from the CFMS time capsule that was dug up in June 2025) and even had the chance to interview parent volunteers who shared what life was like “back then.”
