The Chenango Forks Book Mobile is back! The Book Mobile travels out into the community during the summer to give our students the opportunity to check out books throughout the summer! We have books for children from preschool all the way through grade 12.

Students can listen to a read aloud, enjoy a fun craft, grab a snack, and check out a book to read! Take a look at the full schedule of locations, dates and times!

Mrs. Hantsch's 8th grade science class students recently participated in the annual Egg Drop Challenge, designing and building devices to safely and accurately transport their egg from the second floor down to a target on the ground. Each drop was recorded and analyzed by students, some landings were a big success, while others ended in some messy results!

Chenango Forks Volleyball will be hosting a Girls and Boys Volleyball clinic on July 19, 2025, from 10 a.m. - 2 p.m. This is open to all students entering grades 3 -6 for the 2025-26 schoolyear. Chenango Forks CSD is excited to announce two upcoming open shopping days in June at our school district's Food Center where families are invited to shop and choose their own products, free of charge! This initiative aims to support our community by providing access to a variety of nutritious food items at no cost. This month the CF Middle School Health Club participated in the New York Agriculture in the Classroom Ice Cream Challenge. They brainstormed flavor profiles, created a recipe, made the ice cream and filmed a “How To” marketing video. CFMS French 1A students hit the runway during their recent French Fashion Show! This fun event gave students the chance to practice their French vocabulary, especially colors and clothing, as they took turns describing each group's creative fashion choices en français.

Through our partnership with Binghamton University Community Schools and The Food Bank of the Southern Tier, the Forks Food Center is fully stocked and ready for another week of serving our school community. The Forks Food Center, located at CFMS is available for all families with students enrolled at Chenango Forks Central School District. Curbside pick-up is available.
