Girls Who Code at Binghamton University is a student-led organization that strives to introduce middle and high school girls to a rising field — computer science. Students will learn coding skills, meet women from the tech industry, bond with other girls interested in STEM, and develop skills they will use in their everyday lives.

Chenango Forks Summer Programs: Registration for Move Into Middle School and Hop Into High School has been extended.
Move Into Middle School is for students who are entering grade 6 in the 2026-27 school year and will help students get a jumpstart into middle school!
Hop Into High School is for incoming grade 9 students during the 2026-27 school year and will set students up for success as they enter high school.

Students honed their mechanical engineering skills to create frames, drivetrains, and lifting mechanisms. Electrical engineering, coding, and computer science skills were integral to create the seamless interaction of sensors, microcontrollers, and electric motors.
All of the students worked very hard on their robots, and it showed in their performance and results with a winning 2nd Place Overall Competition for Both Middle and High School Teams!

Wyatt earned 1st place in the Catapult event, demonstrating outstanding design and precision. Easton and Joey also had a great performance, working together to secure 3rd place in Cardboard Furniture Design with their creativity and teamwork on full display.
