MORE ARTWORK: Mrs. Russell's 7th-grade art class crafted beautiful vases from clay this week. They used various hand-building techniques to design and construct their vases, then finished them with a range of glazes.
ARTWORK: Mrs. Russell's 6th-grade art students finished up the year and said, ‘Piece of cake!’ Take a look at their clay slab pieces that they finished up during the last week of school! Students designed their slice of cake, built the clay slab piece, decorated the cake and painted with different colored glaze.
CTE DAY: Students from our middle school visited Broome Tioga BOCES' Career and Technical Education Day recently. They had the chance to explore the many different programs that are offered, as well as the opportunity to discuss new career opportunities!

JUNETEENTH: Today, we honor Juneteenth, a pivotal day in American history marking the end of slavery in the United States. On June 19, 1865, freedom reached the last enslaved African Americans in Texas, over two years after the Emancipation Proclamation.
COOKOUT: Our middle schoolers enjoyed their annual cookout yesterday! We are thankful for the amazing weather that allowed us to have it outside!
