Mrs. Hantsch's Middle School Agriculture class had the pleasure of welcoming Mrs. Aukema and Ms. Peila for a special lesson on dog breeding and showing! This hands-on experience was a fun and engaging way for students to review genetics as they gear up for the state science test. It also introduced students to careers in animal care.
The best part of the visit was getting to play with adorable puppies!

Mrs. Shoudy's sixth grade Family & Consumer Sciences class had the opportunity to bake for the superintendents meeting that was hosted yesterday in the middle school library. They just finished their measuring unit and got to practice their measuring skills by baking home-made brownies. They had the chance to present the dessert to the group of superintendents, which was one student's idea!
The students were very proud of their work, and everyone enjoyed the delicious treat!
