SPIRIT WEEK: Here is the updated Spirit Week for the high school!

FIELD TRIP: The Costa Rica club went on a field trip to the trails at SUNY Broome Forks Alu, Ryan Black (22'). Ryan is a graduate of SUNY ESF’s Ranger School and taught students about the local forest ecology in the southern tier to see how it might compare to what students will see in Costa Rica! He taught about dendrology, forest succession, relationships between plants and animals, and how to determine the age of a forest.

SPIRIT WEEK: High School Spirit Week starts on the 23rd. Here's what you need to know!

ATHLETE OF THE WEEK: This week's Athlete of the week is Zephan Tompkins. Tompkins has scored 6 goals and recorded 2 assists in 4 games. His energy has set the tone for Blue Devil’s soccer. Zephan is a senior and plays midfield. He is a 3-year varsity player and a captain. Zephan was named Greene Tournament All-Star. He is also a standout on our track and field team.

FRENCH CLUB FUNDRAISER: Help support our French Club through their Donut Fundraiser! Students will begin selling on 9/23/24 and the donuts will arrive on the 27th! Both glazed and frosted options are available!

CHALK THE WALK: Chenango Forks Central School District is honored to participate in this year's BC SAFE 'Chalk the Walk' event. Taking place during 'Suicide Prevention Month,' the initiative aims to raise awareness about mental health and the resources available to the community.

BUS DRIVERS: Our bus drivers are the everyday heroes who safely transport our students to and from CF, rain or shine, (and snow too!) Their dedication, patience, and care help ensure our kids start and end their day with a smile. Let’s give a big shoutout to all the amazing drivers who play a vital role in our children’s education and safety!

PERSONAL BEST DAY: Our 9th Graders got out of the classroom this week to engage in a day of team building and fun! Students from the STTA assisted with some of the activities too!

FIRST RESPONDERS: TODAY IS THE LAST DAY TO ORDER YOUR SHIRT!
Every year, our varsity football team devotes one of our games to a special cause. This year, we would like to honor our local first responders. Our game will be played on Friday, September 20th vs. Tioga at 7:00 pm.
In addition to special jerseys our team will be wearing for this game, we will be selling t-shirts – all proceeds will be donated to a local first responder organization. We plan to have a ceremony at halftime to recognize you and your organization for all you do for our community.
We also encourage you to highlight your agency and the service you provide with vehicles, displays, recruitment information, etc. and any other ideas you may have.
Please let us know by Sept 13th if you plan to attend by contacting our CF Athletic Office at 648-7515 so appropriate arrangements can be made for arrival and set up. You may also contact us by email at:
