Students who took part in the Costa Rica class and trip shared Costa Rican food and coffee with the community. They also presented what they learned for their two big projects in the course. For the environmental science portion of the class, they shared their efforts to make real world, positive impacts on the environment in order to try to offset the carbon cost of our trip. For the culture and history portion of the class, each student presented about a Costa Rica related project-based learning topic of their choice that they researched all year and learned about firsthand while in Costa Rica.
