
Students in Mrs. Doolittle's Class created winter wonder land paintings and postcards. The class also sent out watercolor postcards to friends and family. Families and teachers have donated frames for our students to frame their artwork to give as gifts!





Students in Mrs. Garges class demonstrated their understanding of "The Masque of the Red Death" through completing activities pertaining to comprehension, literary elements, symbolism, allegory, theme, and analysis. They did this through their own 'escape room'!

The Girls Who Code Club at Binghamton University is offering a 10-week program for high school level girls to learn computer science and programming languages. They encourage all qualified girls to apply via their website under the ‘Apply’ tab! The program will be starting January 28, 2023.

On Tuesday, Spartak Ghazaryan, an Exchange student from Armenia, facilitated a presentation on Armenian culture and education for Dr. Andrea Gumble’s Southern Tier Teaching Academy students. The class had the opportunity to ask Spartak questions about his experiences in Armenia as well as enjoyed Spartak’s homemade Gata, which is a pastry. Spartak is enjoying his experience at CFHS and looks forward to running a chess club for students this year.





Congratulations to Aubrey Bough, who signed national letters of intent yesterday to play Division 1 Soccer for the University of Vermont! Bough was successful in both Chenango Fork's Soccer and Cross-Country programs!

A huge thank you to our CF Custodial Staff for helping to load all of our shoe donations onto the truck last night. The CF Costa Rica Club has counted 1,150 pairs of donated shoes as of November 8th! HOWEVER, the drive is not over just yet, anyone interested in making a donation has until Friday Nov. 11th, you can reach out to blackm@cforks.org

The Liberty Partnership Program will host a "Show Up and Show Out" event at Chenango Forks High School from 11 a.m.-2 p.m. August 20. This is for students who will be in grades 6-12 this coming fall. Today (May 24, 2022) we received notice from New York State Commissioner of Education Dr. Betty Rosa that the Regents Examination in United States History and Government (Framework), initially schedule for June 1, has been canceled. All students in grades PreK-12 will be required to be in attendance on Wednesday, June 1, 2022. This will be a regular day of instruction. Please contact the main office of your child’s building for further questions.
