October 2025

What's Happening:

  • Significant progress continues on the baseball and softball fields project. Sod is taking root after recent rain, fence posts are set, and preparations are underway for the synthetic turf installation.

We’re pleased to share that the Capital Project vote passed with results of Yes: 90 | No: 28.

September 2025

What's Happening:

  • Significant progress is underway with the installation of underground stormwater drains and structures, as well as the stone base to ensure proper drainage for the Baseball and Softball infields.

July 2025

What's Happening:

  • Outdoor Basketball courts, High School Physical Education locker rooms and team rooms are complete
  • Ongoing work this summer:
    • New pool facility construction
    • Area bathroom and locker room upgrades
    • Drainage and site improvements & construction of a new baseball/softball complex

What's Happening:

  • The pool building has three exterior walls complete; one is needed to remain open to provide access to the pool construction
  • Roofing is occurring
  • Pool locker rooms and bathrooms are beginning to be constructed
  • Cement walls of pool structure have been constructed

October 2024

What's Happening:

  • Locker room structure has been erected in the former senior courtyard. 
  • Pool structure foundation has been laid.
  • Support beams have been erected in the pool area. 
  • Some exterior walls have been erected around the pool area.

July 2024

What's Happening:

  • Renovations are underway for the new locker rooms
  • The former pool structure has been officially cleared to make way for the new facility
  • Grounds for the new pool facility are being prepped for construction

  • Proposal for new turf baseball and softball fields unveiled.
  • New surfaces for basketball courts unveiled at CFE and CFMS

What's Happening:

  • New Renderings have been released.
  • Virtual Walkthrough of new Aquatic Center Revealed.
  • All aspects of former pool and locker room areas demolished.
  • Pool filled and leveled for new structure.

August 2023

What's Happening:

  • Exterior walls and roof of pool & locker rooms have been removed
  • MS basketball court has been stripped of old surfacing, prepped for new.
  • CFE basketball court has been stripped of old surfacing, prepped for new
  • New backboards added to each basketball court
