Jump Start Kindergarten- Tuesday, September 1, 2026

A reminder for our incoming Kindergarten families -

Our Jump Start Kindergarten Program will be held on Tuesday, September 1, 2026, at Chenango Forks Elementary School. 

Your child will come school for either a morning OR an afternoon session. All families should have received a call with confirmation of their time. Please contact the CFE main office at 607-648-7580 is you have not received a call. Parents will drop their child off and pick their child up at the end of the program. 

Jump Start is a time for your child to come to our classrooms, meet their teacher and some of their new classmates, participate in learning centers, go on a bus ride, play on the playground, and have a snack in the cafeteria. It’s a great way for your child to get a little glimpse of what kindergarten will be like.

Morning Session:
Drop off at front benches: 9 a.m.
Jump Start: 9-11:30 a.m.
Meet and Greet: 11:30-11:45 a.m.

Afternoon Session:
Drop off at front benches: 12:30 p.m.
Jump Start: 12:30-3:00 p.m.
Meet and Greet: 3:00-3:15 p.m.
