ENVROTHON: Two teams from CF, the Sensational Scatters and the Phinntastic Phish, competed in the County and Regional NYS Envirothon Competition.  Students tested their knowledge in aquatics, forestry, soils, wildlife, and a current issue at the Owego Sportsman's Club.  The teams placed 4th and 5th in Broome County!

CINCO DE MAYO: Our students at CFE were able to celebrate Cinco de Mayo on Friday. The holiday represents the resilience of the Mexican people during the invasion by the French empire in the 19th century! 



RISE AND SHINE: Thank you to Mrs. Johnson's class for their Rise and Shine program on Friday. CFE also welcomed Miss Ann from 'Dance Connection' to discuss this month's trait of  'sharpening the saw'. Mr. Tellerday helped the class perform the school's song 'CFE is The Place to Be' on guitar! MOON TREE: Today our Interact Club with the assistance of some science classes, planted a 'moon tree'. This extraordinary tree, grown from a seed that journeyed to the moon and back during the Apollo 14 mission in 1971, represents a remarkable fusion of science, space exploration, and environmental stewardship. The tree was generously donated to the school by the Nimmonsburg-Hillcrest Rotary.
