Today our high school entrepreneurship class welcomed Chenango Forks graduate Matt Dutcher, owner of the Chenango Bridge Red & White, as a guest speaker. He shared with students his experiences as a local business owner right here in our community.
On Wednesday, Chenango Forks High School and Middle School student leaders took part in an inspiring full-day leadership workshop presented by William M. Blackford IV of FranklinCovey.
Rooted in "The 7 Habits of Highly Effective Students", the training focused on how students can lead others through effective communication and encourage the growth potential in those around them.

This month, five Chenango Forks High School art students will showcase their work in the Chenango County Arts Council upcoming exhibit inspired by the imaginative and haunting world of Hieronymus Bosch.
This exhibit explores how the works of Bosch have influenced our ideas about monsters and horror.
Their pieces will be featured at Mariea Brown & Raymond Loft Galleries, 27 West Main Street, Norwich, NY from October 11 - November 2.

Congratulations to Aaron Oshrin for earning a spot in the NYMSSA Conference All-State Symphonic Band on Trombone 1. Aaron was selected for this honor after earning a 100 on an All-State solo this past April.
Aaron will rehearse and perform a concert with the group the first weekend of December in Rochester, NY.

Wednesday morning, student school board members from across Broome and Tioga Counties took part in a training seminar by the New York State Education Department and the New York State School Boards Association. This meeting was designed to teach the students about their responsibilities as board members and help prepare them for the upcoming school year. Chenango Forks was proudly represented by high school students Michael Moppert and Emily Phelps.
Chenango Forks High School Open House will be held on Tuesday, September 23, from 6 - 7 p.m. Be sure to stop by the high school cafeteria to visit the many local community organizations that will be in attendance.

Chenango Forks CSD is honored to participate in this year’s BC SAFE ‘Chalk the Walk’ event. Taking place during Suicide Prevention Month, this initiative aims to raise awareness about mental health and the resources available in the community.
PICTURE DAY | Chenango Forks High School Underclassmen Picture Days will take place on Wednesday, September 17 and Thursday, September 18, 2025.

At our most recent Board of Education meeting, Chenango Forks High School student Michael Moppert was appointed as the ex officio student member of the Board of Education.
In this role, Michael will serve as the voice of the student body, helping ensure student perspectives are represented, while gaining valuable leadership experience.
