This summer, our amazing Character Ed team at CFE brought some color and inspiration to our school! This artwork is a reminder to every student that they are all leaders. We can’t wait to see their faces light up when they see it!

To help middle and high school families prepare for the year ahead and to get your feedback on our policy draft, we will be hosting a Town Hall meeting on Thursday, August 14 from 5-5:45 p.m. in the Chenango Forks High School Auditorium.

From operating heavy machinery and automotive repair, to creating special effects makeup in Cosmetology, our students enjoyed this fun, hands-on learning experience.
Our students have been busy exploring the great outdoors during Summer Enrichment! From nature walks and scavenger hunts to identifying local species, they’ve been learning how to care for themselves and the earth.
A recent highlight was a visit from Danielle Wood, retired teacher and wildlife rehabber from All Creatures Great and Small. Danielle introduced us to some of her rescued animals, including a few amazing tortoises, and shared how her nonprofit organization helps injured and orphaned wildlife.
She reminded us: If you see an animal in need, don’t touch, call a trained rehabber or the DEC. Protect wildlife by keeping trails clean, respecting their habitats, and observing from a distance.
It’s been a wonderful way to connect with nature and learn how to protect the world around us!
Students can listen to a read aloud, enjoy a fun craft, grab a snack, and check out a book to read! Take a look at the full schedule of locations, dates and times!

The Pulitzer Center's Fighting Words Poetry contest features poems that respond to real world issues, bringing together journalism and poetry to give students a platform to speak out and bring attention to challenges facing our world today.
Jamin's piece was one of 23 selected winners and finalists out of 1,875 entries from 26 countries, 40 states, and the District of Columbia.
