The 6th annual Transportation Systems Car show was held Thursday, June 5. Students from the elementary, middle, and high school attended the show. The purpose of the show is for students to learn about the vast array of vehicles on our roadways, associated career paths, and automotive engineering in addition to an introduction to the world of automotive customization. The custom vehicles represent what you can accomplish with a little hard work and determination. The vehicles are also important from a historical perspective. We had everything from a 1938 fire truck to a 2024 Chevrolet Corvette. Thank you to all of the participants that took time out of their day to come and share their vehicles.
2025 Winners:
Best Work in Progress: Tyler Stoddard with his #38 Race Car
Best of Show: We actually had a tie between Trooper Hanlon’s 2023 Dodge Charger from the New York State Police and Gabe “Rudy” Pavlich’s 2005 Chrysler PT Cruiser. Trooper Hanlon graciously conceded the honor to Rudy.
Crown Favorite: Kim Armstrong with her 1963 Ford Galaxy Convertible.

Mrs. Hantsch's 8th grade science class students recently participated in the annual Egg Drop Challenge, designing and building devices to safely and accurately transport their egg from the second floor down to a target on the ground. Each drop was recorded and analyzed by students, some landings were a big success, while others ended in some messy results!
